64 Shopping Centers Provide Mini Vaccination Centers

As many as 64 shopping centers or malls in Jakarta have provided mini vaccination centers for visitors who have yet to get vaccinated.

We provide a mini vaccination center complete with vaccinators and also get vaccine support from the Health Agency (Dinkes)

Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Agency Head of Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) said, it was one of the conditions for the mall to operate.

"We provide a mini vaccination center complete with vaccinators and also get vaccine support from the Health Agency (Dinkes)," she expressed, Wednesday (8/24).

To smoothen it, her agency had coordinated and made an agreement with the Jakarta Regional Management Council's Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI DPD).

"If they (malls) ignore it, they will get a warning. But, so far, they are obeying the rules," he explained.

According to him, the Jakarta administration was committed to vaccinate all people in Jakarta, which was also aimed to support the economy to run optimally.

"We not only prohibit but while facilitating those who have not been vaccinated. This is a form of collaboration between the government and business actors," he stated.
